Warriors edge Chiefs 1-0 in overtime

Reed Gunville’s goal 79 seconds into the first overtime was the only goal of the game as the West Kelowna Warriors downed the visiting Chiefs Tuesday night.

Shane Farkas earned the shutout for the home team, making 42 saves.

Chiefs goaltender Mark Sinclair made 29 saves.

Chilliwack went 0/5 on the power play and 3/3 on the penalty kill.

The Chiefs head to Vancouver Island this weekend with games in Alberni Valley (Saturday) and Victoria (Sunday). They return home to host the Vernon Vipers on Saturday October 15th.
