Chilliwack Chiefs forward Kevin Wall has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 4, the league announced Monday.
In three games this weekend, the 18-year-old from Fairport, N.Y. tallied four goals and three assists for seven points in three games.
Wall kicked off his week by scoring a goal in the Chiefs 3-2 road win over the Langley Rivermen on Friday night and followed it up with another goal and a second star in a 4-3 loss at home to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. On Sunday, Wall exploded offensively as he had two goals, including the game-winner, and three assists in a 7-4 home win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and was named second star for the second game in a row.
After his performance this weekend, Wall is now tied with Victoria Grizzlies forward Alex Newhook for the league lead in scoring with 34 points and has the outright lead in goals with 19.
