Chilliwack Chiefs forward Craig Puffer has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 19, the league announced Monday.
Puffer was named 1st Star in each of the Chiefs three wins last weekend and scored the game-winhing goal in two of those contests. The native of New Canaan, Connecticut started off scoring one of three second-period goals in a 3-2 win over Prince George. He got the winner as part of a two-goal night in a 5-3 road win over Coquitlam and finished with a hat trick in a 6-3 home win the next night against Coquitlam.
The University of Vermont recruit now leads Chilliwack in goals with 12 and points with 16.
