Dawson Good Commits to University of Vermont

The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce that veteran forward Dawson Good has secured his NCAA future with a commitment to the Vermont Catamounts. In his second full season with the club, the 6’1 Abbotsford, BC native is averaging a point per game and is second in team scoring.

According to Chiefs Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney, Good has become a teammate that can be counted on both on and off the ice.

“Dawson epitomizes what it is to be a Chilliwack Chief. He is a selfless person and a leader in our dressing room. His on-ice performance this season made him a popular player with a lot of NCAA schools and we are thrilled that he has been able to secure a commitment to Vermont,” said the Chiefs bench boss.

“I’m extremely honoured & excited to get this opportunity with Vermont, the coaching staff are all people I have really come to respect, and their program is run with the utmost professionalism,” Good said. “Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point, most recently the coaching staff in Chilliwack. They have done a phenomenal job pushing me to be the best I can be.”

Congratulations, Dawson!
