The Chilliwack Chiefs have traded 2004-born defenceman Zach Rizzo to the Powell River Kings in exchange for future considerations.
“With us getting healthy and new guys coming in on the blueline, we wanted to give him a chance to get more playing time and grow as a 19-year-old. Zach is a great guy with an extremely strong work ethic. We wish him nothing but the best in his next chapter,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.
Rizzo suited up for 16 games with the Chiefs, scoring a goal and an assist.
