The Chilliwack Chiefs have traded 2004-born defenceman Vit Beran to the Powell River Kings in exchange for future considers.
Beran had played ten games with the Chiefs before an injury took him out of the lineup for a few weeks.
“It’s unfortunate Vits injury has put him in a position where it would be hard to find playing time going forward. As a 19-year-old and a European, it’s important that we find him a place to play where he can showcase his abilities and earn a scholarship,” said Chiefs Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “He’s a phenomenal teammate and will be missed. We wish him nothing but the best.”
The Chiefs would like thank Vit for his hard work both on and off the ice here in Chilliwack.
