Chiefs suffer pair of weekend losses

Kale Howarth scored three times to lead the Trail Smoke Eaters to a 7-3 win over the visiting Chilliwack Chiefs Friday night. It was the second consecutive three goal game for the Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick.

Ross Armour scored twice and added two assists for the home team while Levi Glasman picked up four assists.

Ryan Mioto, Skyler Brind’Amour and Matt Slick replied for the Chiefs.

Saturday in West Kelowna, the home town Warriors got a 30 save shutout from Cole Demers in a 6-0 win over the Chiefs.

Cavin Tilsley scored twice and added an assist for the Warriors who held period leads of 1-0 and 3-0.

 

The Chiefs return to home ice Friday when they host the Wenatchee Wild.
