The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to welcome Adrian Presnilla as the team’s new Athletic Therapist.
Before joining the Chiefs, Presnilla was with the U16 AAA Calgary Northstars Hockey Association as well as Hockey Alberta. He also worked with the Calgary Stampeder Football Club during their 2018-19 seasons and was a part of the 2018 Grey Cup Championship Team.
“Having grown up in Abbotsford, it’s always been a dream of mine to work for a junior hockey team in the Fraser Valley. I’m excited to be back and have the opportunity to work with the Chilliwack Chiefs,” said Presnilla.
Presnilla completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology and Bachelors of Kinesiology in Exercise Science at UFV. He then made his way to Calgary to complete his post-graduate Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University.
”We’re extremely fortunate to have Adrian join our Chiefs family. With his certifications, professionalism, and enthusiastic energy we feel he is going to be a great fit,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “Adrian has worked alongside team doctors as well as worked in the professional game. We plan to concentrate a little more on injury prevention and with Adrian working alongside our players they’ll be in good hands,”
Presnilla says he is excited to join to get started and be a part of the community.
“It’s always been such a great and supportive hockey town. I am thrilled to be a part of a championship hockey organization and assist its elite-level hockey players to perform at their best, to achieve their goals, and to move on to the next higher levels of hockey.”
Welcome to the Chiefs family Adrian!
