The Chiefs announced today that they have acquired the CJHL playing rights to goaltender David Poirer (1995) from the Brockville Braves of the CCHL in exchange for future considerations.
The six foot 170 pound native of Kirkland Quebec appeared in 17 games for the Braves this season, earning eight wins with a goals against average of 4.04 and a save percentage of 86.4.
Poirer is expected to join the Chiefs in time for this weekend’s action.
