The Chiefs announced today that they have acquired 18 year old defenseman Bennett Morrison from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in exchange for future considerations.
Morrison, who hails from Balton Ontario is in his first season of junior hockey. In 25 games with the Silverbacks this season he has two goals and three assists.
Prior to making the move to the BCHL this season, Morrison spent two seasons at Kent High School in Connecticut.
Morrison is expected to join the Chiefs in time for this weekend’s home and home series versus the Surrey Eagles.
