Chiefs Acquire Chilliwack Product

The Chilliwack Chiefs have acquired Josh Hansen from the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.
 
The 19 year old forward, a product of the Chilliwack Minor Hockey system is regarded as a solid 2 way forward. Hansen played his inaugural BCHL season in Langley in 2010-11 where he recorded 9 goals and 7 assists in 55 games He was named the Langley Chiefs rookie of the year.
 
Chiefs’ Head Coach and General Manager Harvey Smyl is thrilled to have Hansen on his roster once again, “Josh is a hard working player who can contribute 5 on 5, on the power play and can kill penalties.” 
 
Hansen is excited to be calling Prospera Centre his home rink. “I grew up watching the Chiefs in Chilliwack my entire life, this is a sweet opportunity for me and I hope to take advantage of it as best I can.”
 
Hansen will join his new Chilliwack teammates August 24th for training camp at Prospera Centre.
