Chiefs 6 Silverbacks 1

Regan Kimens scored a team record three shorthanded goals to help lead the Chiefs to a 6-1 over the visiting Salmon Arm Silverbacks Friday night at Prospera Centre.

The win was the third straight for the Chiefs who improve to 7-6-1-1 on the season.

Kimens, who scored a goal in each period now have five goals and three assists in seven games since he was acquired from the Langley Rivermen.

Skyler Brind’Amour scored twice and added an assist for the Chiefs who held period leads of 2-0 and 4-0.

Brendan O’Reilly also scored for the winner while Anthony Vincent chipped in with three assists.

Mathieu Caron made 17 saves to earn his seventh win of the season. Bo Didur made 27 saves to earn the loss for the Silverbacks.

Chilliwack is back in action Saturday night when they host the Langley Rivermen. Game time is 7pm.
