The Chilliwack Chiefs are very proud to announce that Brady Milburn has committed to play his NCAA hockey at Lake Superior State University.
Milburn, a 2005-born forward, is in his second season with the Chiefs. The Kamloops product has 13 goals, and 11 assists for 24 points in 43 games played this year.
“We’re really proud of Brady and happy he has the opportunity to play at Lake State with his brothers. Brady is a quiet leader for our group and a player who is going to continue to have a lot of success this season and next here in Chilliwack. We are extremely excited to see him continue to take steps in his game as he prepares for the NCAA,” said Chiefs Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney.
Brady will be the third Milburn brother to suit up for the Lakers. His oldest brother Connor and former Chiefs captain is currently in his rookie NCAA season. His other older brother Regan Milburn, who plays for the Vernon Vipers, is set to join Connor next season.
“I’m beyond excited to have the opportunity to continue my hockey career and be a part of such a first-class program. To have the chance to play alongside my brothers is something really special for my family and me. Truly grateful and looking forward to getting things going. Huge thank you to family, coaches, teammates, and friends for making this possible,” said Milburn.
