Mrsic Commits to Colorado College

The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce that assistant captain Mateo Mrsic has committed to playing NCAA  Division I hockey at Colorado College.

“We are all really proud of Mateo. Super happy for him and his family. His commitment to his game and to his team are reasons why I think this is just one of many steps he will make in his hockey career. He is going to a great program and we look forward to continuing to help him prepare for the next level,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brain Maloney.

The Surrey product is in his second season with the Chiefs. In 21 games so far, he has scored 5 goals and 13 assists for 18 points.

“This was a tough decision for me. I was lucky enough to have a couple of really great options in the NCAA. But in the end Colorado College really felt like the place for me. The staff in Chilliwack has been instrumental in helping me achieve this goal and I look forward to continuing to develop within this organization,” said Mrsic.

Congratulations Mateo!
