Chilliwack, B.C. – The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the signing of forward Reese Shaw, a Lake Superior State commit from Coon Rapids, Minnesota. A right-shot centre known for his reliable two-way play, Shaw brings valuable USHL experience, having spent the past two seasons in the league. Most recently, during the 2024-25 season with the Des Moines Buccaneers, he recorded 15 points (5 goals, 10 assists) in 56 games.
“Reese brings both size and veteran experience to our lineup. As a natural right-handed centre, he’ll give us a big boost in the faceoff circle.” Said Head Coach & General Manager Brian Maloney. “We’ve struggled at times to generate offence, often due to a lack of size and puck protection. Reese will help in both areas, making an impact with and without the puck.”
