Chiefs Sign NMU Commit Connor Dick

The Chilliwack Chiefs are pleased to announce the signing of 2005-born forward Connor Dick.

The 18-year-old is committed to Northern Michigan University.

“With Connor, we’re adding more speed to our lineup. He was one of the most productive 17-year-olds in the Alberta league last season. His speed gives him the ability to release his shot, which is hard and accurate,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.

Dick was with the Blackfalds Bulldogs in the AJHL until the signing. In 24 games, the Sherwood, Alberta product had five goals and 11 assists for 16 points. Last season, Dick finished the year with 38 points.

“He will help us offensively but also can win a lot of races up and down the ice. As a 2005-born player, there is a lot of room to grow, but he’s proven to produce at the junior level already,” Maloney said.

Welcome to the Chiefs family, Connor!
