Prospera Hosts Russia Canada
World Jr. A Exhibition Contest
The Russians are coming to Prospera Centre on Saturday, November 5 and will take on the best Canada has to offer in the final and most exciting exhibition game leading up to the World Jr. A Challenge Tournament slated for the Langley Events Centre Nov. 7-13. Canada West, winner of two gold and two silver medals in the six year History of the Jr. A Challenge, will face-off against the Russian national team that has seen 6 NHL first round selections including Nikita Filatov, Alexander Burmistrov, and Dmitri Kulikov play in this event.
Game time is 7pm.
Tickets for the Nov. 5 tilt are now on sale through the Chiefs website, at KBRticketing.ca or in person at the Prospera Centre Box Office. All tickets are priced at $15 including all taxes and service charges.
Prospera Centre President Glen Ringdal said, “We are pleased to offer our Chilliwack Hockey Fans this exceptional opportunity to see some of the very best junior hockey players in the world. Canada and Russia have a great history of hard competition and we expect no less from this game. “
He noted that Chilliwack fans wishing to purchase a full package of World Jr. A Challenge games will receive a discount when purchasing along with the November 5 game.
Chiefs season ticket holders will be able to reserve their regular seats to the Canada-Russia game until 5 pm Monday, Oct. 17 at which time all remaining seats will go on sale to the general public.
