Chilliwack, B.C. – The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the addition of Cole Hutchinson, a 6’0”, 190 lb defenceman from East Lansing, MI, to the roster for the 2025-26 season.
Hutchinson, a 2006-born spent the 2024-25 season with the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL), where he tallied 8 goals, 14 assists, and 22 points over 52 games. Hutchinson will be a key addition to the Chiefs’ defensive group.
“Cole Hutchinson is a versatile, right-shot defenceman who plays with great poise and confidence with the puck,” said Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney. “Coming from a phenomenal family that I know very well, Cole brings valuable junior hockey experience and will be able to contribute in all situations. We’re excited to welcome him to our group.”
