Chiefs shutout by Clippers

Billy Faust stopped all 30 shots he faced to help lead the Nanaimo Clippers to a 2-0 victory over the visiting Chilliwack Chiefs Sunday afternoon.

The Chiefs (4-5-0-1) have now lost five straight.

Nanaimo (4-4-0-3) got goals from Kyle Kramer in the second period and Tanner Clarkson in the third.

The Chiefs went 0/9 with the man advantage.

Mitch Gillam made 25 saves for the Chiefs who return to home ice Friday when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters.
