Another busy weekend ahead for Chiefs

The Chiefs will play three games in less than 48 hours this weekend beginning Friday night in Coquitlam.

Friday’s game versus the Express is the second of seven meetings between the two teams this season. Chilliwack captured game one last weekend on home ice by a score of 5-4. The Chiefs are riding a 28 game unbeaten streak versus the Express that dates back to March 6, 2015.

Saturday night the Chiefs are on home ice to take on the Surrey Eagles. Chilliwack is 1-0-0-0 versus the Eagles this season. The Eagles are currently in fifth place in the mainland division but did score an impressive 6-5 home ice victory over the Vernon Vipers on Wednesday.

Sunday afternoon it’s the Vipers in town making their only appearance of the regular season. Game time is 2pm.
