Saturday December 10th is the Chiefs Annual Teddy Bear Toque Toss game in support of Chilliwack Community Services. The Chiefs will take on the Surrey Eagles that night, game time is 7pm. Fans are asked to bring stuffed animals and toques to throw onto the ice when the Chiefs score their first goal of the game. Teddy Bears will be available for purchase on the concourse by donation and the special Chiefs/Community Services toque is on sale in the Chiefs store for just $10. For those of you needing tickets and something to throw be sure to check out the Chiefs/Community Services ticket package where you receive 1 ticket and a toque for just $20.
The Chiefs and Eagles will meet twice this week with the first of the two meetings set to go on Thursday night at the South Surrey Arena, game time is 6:30pm. The Chiefs hold down second place in the Mainland Division with 44 points, 20 points ahead of the fifth place Eagles. The last time these two teams met was on October 1st, a game that saw the Chiefs defeat the Eagles 5-4 in the dying seconds of double overtime.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are on sale now at the Prospera Centre/Chilliwack Chiefs Administration Office which is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday’s 9am to 4pm or online. Avoid the game day line ups purchase your tickets ahead of time!
