Chiefs Edge Eagles 4-3

Kohen Olischefski scored twice and added an assist to help lead the Chiefs to a 4-3 win over the Eagles on Thursday night.

The Chiefs were blanked in the first period by Eagles goalie Kellan Williams and went down 2-0 just  over 6 minutes into the second frame. But it was Kohen Olischefski who got the Chiefs on the board at the 10:52 mark of the second period with the help of Captain Jordan Kawaguchi and Davis Bunz. At 12:38 Jordan Kawaguchi tied the game and end the second deadlocked at 2-2.

Just over a minute into the third period Olischefski notched his second of the game, 22nd of the season to give the Chiefs the lead. But Surrey came back and tied the game at 3-3.  Jake Smith proved to be the game hero putting the winner home at the 19:00 minute mark of the third to secure the Chiefs win.

Three stars of the game were: 1 Jordan Kawaguchi, 2 Ashton Calder, and 3 Kohen Olischefski.

The two teams will meet one last time this regular season Saturday night at Prospera Centre, tickets are on sale now both online and in person the Prospera Centre/Chilliwack Chiefs Administration Office.

Fans are reminded that those who could not attend the February 3 or 4th games due to the weather are reminded that they can exchange their tickets to Saturday’s game at the Prospera Centre/Chilliwack Chiefs Administration office or at the Prospera Centre Box Office the day of the game. The box office will open at 3pm.
