Chilliwack will host the annual Bauer BCHL Showcase September 20-24 at Prospera Centre for the sixth consecutive year. All 17 teams will again play two games each at the Showcase for a total of 17 games at the event. All games count in the regular-season standings. The Showcase will have a strong presence of scouts from the college and NHL ranks with as many as 200 talent evaluators expected to attend. The Chiefs will face the Nanaimo Clippers on September 22 and the Penticton Vees on September 23. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.

As for the regular season, the schedule will once again consist of two games, one home and one away versus each non division team. The balance of the schedule will be played against four mainland division rivals. The mainland division will have five teams this season, including the Chiefs along with the Langley Rivermen, Coquitlam Express, the Prince George Spruce Kings and the Surrey Eagles. The Wenatchee Wild, which played the previous two seasons in the mainland division have moved to the interior division.

The Chiefs’ 2017-18 home schedule includes 28 dates of unforgettable promotions, special guests, exciting theme nights and one-of-a-kind giveaways. Much will be revealed throughout the season.

Several fan favourites from past years are returning, highlighted by a Salute to First Responders on October 6, Minor Hockey Night on November 18 featuring all-you-can-eat popcorn, and the Chiefs will go country with Dairy Industry Appreciation Night, January 27.

Chiefs fans can join in the organization’s charitable efforts by participating in Browns Socialhouse Pajama Night, December 1, in support of The Christmas Pajama Drive, Teddy Bear Toss Night, December 9, in support of Chilliwack Community Services, and Fill-the-Rink for the Food Bank Night in support of the Salvation Army on December 29.

Kids will be thrilled to know that post-game skates with the Chiefs will continue after Sunday games culminating with an exciting Sunday Fun Day for families on February 11 during the BC Family Day weekend.

The busiest home day for the Chiefs this season will be Friday with 12 games followed by Saturday with nine. Five home games are scheduled for Sunday with the remaining two games to be played on Wednesday. Sunday home games will start at 2pm, aligning with the results of a Chiefs fan survey, with the exception of the February 11th game versus West Kelowna which will start at 5pm to accommodate the Warriors travel from Powell River.

Season tickets are now on sale for as low as $199. Ticket plans of all sizes will be available soon including Five Star Five Packs, group sales and charitable fundraisers.
